One more note on research paper

I have been observing the commentary regarding research papers. Here are my responses:
1) The topic must be literary as mandated by the school district. Because we teach a survey of British Literature at the 12th grade level, it has to be a British lit topic.
2) The organization of the paper has to be gradable. I promise to come up with a method that will help those who like and those who hate "notecards". The electronic notecard process will help and is much easier than traditional note taking.
3) Fortunately for you, I will be very open to your own process as long as you can fit it into my ability to grade all papers on the same deadlines. I will reveal the details at the end of this week.

See you all tomorrow.

I don't really know much about electronic notecards but from what you have told me they sound fun. I am a huge loser and i love to write papers but I despise notecards because i get so tired of jotting down notes my hands kill me. I love typing notes and organizing on the computer so this sounds like my cup of tea. Can't wait till we start...

thanks mrs. caldwell! the easier the research paper the easier my life if. I know that you have certain guidelines to follow, but please take into consideration that it is the second our senior year and we have NO inspiration to do work.

This sounds like a good idea. It is going to be a lot better than my research paper last year. You are the best!

As long as the topic isn't something just crazy and completely off the wall and random, I think it will be great. I think this is going to go very smoothly and will be a great end to our senior year!! SENIORS!!

Well, as much as I dread research papers, I hope this one is more tolerable. Hopefully I will get something that is interesting and I won't have to feel like I am having to slit my wrists to finish it. But, no matter how interesting the topic, I have a feeling I am still going to dislike this assignment because of the exorbitant amount of work that it requires. Oh well, I can't fight it...

I have absolutely detested every research paper up to this point. I'm glad that you are trying to make it more interesting than previous teachers I just hope that this doesn't take as much out of my life as others have in the past. Thanks Mrs. C!

This research project doesn't really freak me out as much as the one last year. I usually don't do well with broad but I really like Shakespeare and things associated with that time period so i think this will be a fun project.

Something makes me think Mitchell didn't really write that, of course I could be wrong; Mitchell isn't usely very sarcastic though.....and we all know he wasn't serious.

Research papers are no fun for me. Really i normal hate doing them, and have to get Mr. Rangley to help me. He is into the structure type of writing so i don't know if that will help or hurt me if i get his help. Anyways im looking forward to it if it is an easy quick process.
