I am so excited about my break to stardom at Mountain Brook High School in Mrs. Caldwell's English class. I am even playing the role of a boy... however, I think this workshop will be very interesting for our 3rd period class.

I look forward to all of these, but I really hate acting- that is, MY acting. So I guess I don't look forward to it as much as I dread it. A lot. Thanks, Mrs. Caldwell. Now my life sucks, and it's ALL YOUR FAULT!!! *cries*

Taking an entire clas devoted to acting, I really do not mind this project. But I will say that this just seems like another typical way of trying to make something that is pushing on lame, fun. Regardless, it is easy points and I think that anyone who complains about this needs to get over it and just try it at least. Come on, it could be interesting.

In 9th we did acting and I liked it a lot. I think it will be fun again this year too. I'm just concerned that we will have to write a paper or something at the end and that would not be good.

I am pretty exciting about the acting assignment. Although, I will say that I'm a bit intimidated by the number of lines, I, Prince Henry, has. I'm sure it will be fine though. I hope the debate tournament was fun!

I hope this acting isn't that hard. i understood what you said about making it like a dance today. i hope it does make it easier...

I really enjoyed the acting that we did in 9th grade. And like john said i really hope that we dont have to write a paper or anything after we finish. The only thing that i really dont like about shakespeare is that it is just so hard to understand sometimes.

Acting makes me nervous sometimes, but if I can get into it, it'll end up ok. I'm glad to be in a well-known play because if I get confused, I can always just copy the movie. Awesome.

I have 44 lines. I don't think that will be too bad...who knows, though. I'm excited to be with Ganderson and maggie and addie...someone else is in my group...shoot I cant remember, oh well. I think it will be a lot of fun. I'm very excited about doing it in front of an audience, too. I think it is also awesome that you are letting us pick the setting. It really let's us feel like we are adding something to it!

I don't mind my scene assignment as long as I don't have to bring props since I have the most lines. Im actually kind of excited about how the whole thing is going to go. However, how are we going to find costumes? I remember that was hard in ninth grade.

I'm really excited about acting out Shakespeare's plays. I think it's a great way to learn and have fun at the same time. I believe this acting assignment will keep us engaged with all that is going on, especially since it is the second semester of our senior year. Can't wait!

I am thoroughly excited about the upcoming acting assignment. I think it's a great way for us to get involved, especially since the motivation level is slowly diminshing this second semester. I look forward to working with my group. It will be fun to do something different for a change.

We are seniors and so we don't really need to do note cards.
We don't really need to do any outside work either.
Most people are already into college.

I am playing the role of Macbeth. I'm not sure how many lines I have to memorize, but it took me about five minutes to highlight all of them if that helps you realize how many I have. Hopefully Mrs. Caldwell's promise to cut some of my lines will come true. My memorizing skills aren't too sharp.

I am a terrible actor so I am very sorry if I dissapoint you. I am also really bad at memorizing lines (even more so when I dont understant what I'm saying) so, um sorry I guess. But all and all it will be nice to do something interactive and not have to sit at a desk all day. All and all it should be a nice break for all of us.

I think that this is going to be a lot of fun. I am glad that I get to act with Levin, and I think our scene will be a really good one. Thanks Mrs. Caldwell. :)

I dont really mind what we are doing with acting out scenes but i dont really understand the point of it. It doesn't help me learn about the play anymore than i would if we just read the play in class.

I am bad at memorizing. The 11 lines you gave me is too much. Don't expect much in the way of acting either.

I am looking forward to acting in front of the class. The only thing I do not want to do is memorize Prince Henry's lines. However, I believe that this will be more fun than the ninth grade edition of Shakespearean acting. Well I hope you had a good time in T-Town and will look forward to finishing Macbeth as soon as possible.

I appreciate your generosity in considering me for so many lines. I have all the time in the world to memorize them. Wait actually no I don't, ha oh well. Don' t feel too bad though, I don't think the the project is a bad thing; I will figure out a way to get it done.

I'm not sure how well these scenes are going to turn out. Most likely i am going to choke and forget my lines, if i deciede to take the effort and go out of the way and memorize them. I'm not sure i will be able to career it like those kids from Mortimier Jordan.
