Extended metaphor

Many of you were very successful at extending a metaphor through your stories about your elementary school days in chapter 4. Take one of the following topics and create three sentences that extend a metaphor comparing this topic with something of your choice:
  1. Graduation
  2. ________ class (your favorite class in junior high)
  3. High School
  4. Activity of your choice from high school

High School is like a massive party. Everyone gets along. It is awesome, it is no work and all play!!

Life is like riding a bicycle. You don't fall off unless you plan to stop peddling. Graduation is just another part of life where one must keep peddling. It is not the end but yet the continuation of a great ride.

High school is a chick-fil-a sandwhich. The first bite is the best, and every bite into it gets better. You savior that last bit of it and try to make it last! You do everything you can to make it better. and then you take your last bite, and its all gone. All you have left are the memories of it.

Life is like a roller coaster, there are many ups and downs. High School is just another hill or valley in the scheme of life.
