Tomorrow, tomorrow, and tomorrow...
Macbeth says that life is a brief candle, walking shadow, poor player, and a tale told by and idiot. He is explaining the brevity and insignificance of life using these metaphors. Create a metaphor for life. Please be creative; Forrest Gump sort of has a patent on his phrase. (Yes, I know that one is a simile... I will take those too!)

Life is an onion which has many layers within it. It keeps unraveling in a linked chain of circles when you get to the core and there is nothing more to unravel there is a past of memories.
Life is like...
1)skydiving - if at first you don't succeed, you're screwed.
2)racing - the sooner you slow down, the more time you'll have to catch up
3)a speed trap on a downward sloping hill - you want to coast through, but authority won't let you
4)shoe laces - you don't want to stop for a second and tie a good knot, but if you don't, you will trip up in the future
5)a road trip - you may not know exactly where you are going but you can fun on the way
6)a bouncy ball - with each bounce it gets slower and not as amusing, until it starts rolling, then it stops
7)Mrs. Caldwell's VCR - you can't rewind or fast forward, but you can play all you want
8)Monopoly - you want to buy Boardwalk and Park Place, but by the time you gt to it, somebody else as already got one or both of them, or you don't have enough money
9)Lucky Charms - you want to eat all of the marshmallows first, but then there's nothing sugary to eat the bland O's with
10)a sandwich - the more you put into it, the more you'll get out of it
11)this list - not everybody will get to the end of it (either distracted or bored), but the ones who do will get the most out of it
Life's a timebomb, eventually its going to go off.
Life is like my stomach after eating Davenport's pizza. It is so tasty while you are shoving rectangle after rectangle into your mouth, but when it's all over, it is just an upset tummy--a tummy that wants even more the next time it goes to Davenport's.
Life is like a bag of assorted doughnuts. You never know what your going to get. You could get one with sprinkles and be excited or you could get one filled with custard and get messy. hehe.
Life is a box that you fill up as you go. Also life is a dance, you learn as you go, sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow.
I mean why can't you just post people's comments, about pictures and facebook their was nothing bad about it, i would just like to recieve credit
Life is like Chuck Norris. Give a man a fish, and you will feed him for a day. Give a man anything that is better than a fish, and Chuck Norris will roundhouse kick him and take it.
Life is like writing a blog for english. Most of the days you forget about it and its not fun. But every once in awhile you will have the day when elliotm3 blesses us with his wonderfull comments.
Life is like recess time on the playground. In order to have fun and succeed you have to choose between all the different options of people and activities. The options are unlimited but recess is always shorter than desired.
Life is a maze. There are many different paths to the end and some are harder than others.
life is waking up early and getting ready for school, only to realize that it doesnt matter because youre in purgatory.
