Topics
Knowing that you have to have a literary topic for your research paper, do you have any thoughts about the subject matter? I am still working on a list of topic options and would love your input.

Please don't make us write anymore things about Africa. This is an English class not a cultural diversity class. If it has to be on a literary topic i would want to write on something like "the hero" or shakespeare because they both would have lots of information.
I agree with Cole. I hate Africa, I dont care about the people there nor their problems, and I definately do not wish to write a research paper that has anything to do with Africa. I could deal with Shakespeare or something like that.
Hi Brandi C.! I just love to blog! It is so exciting! It is so much better than doing a 10 spot although it did waste about 15 minutes of class. But this is much easier.
I agree with the other comments. I think we should probably write about Shakespeare. Maybe we could compare his life to one or two of his plays. We kind of did that last year, and it was not too difficult.
I fourth what Hannon, El, and Abby said. Since we are going off to college and we need to start thinking about our career choices this would be a more enjoyable topic to work with. I think researching on a career topic choice of our own would be a good idea!

I second what Hannon said about possibly writing something on our career interests for the future because then we would be more motivated to research
