Full Speed Ahead

Remember when I told you that this year would have hills and valleys? Well, we have been in the valley with scene practice and research time. You have not had many deadlines or due dates. That is quickly changing. Tomorrow you will receive a calendar of your life until graduation. Be mindful of the deadlines and point values. We have one more major hill to climb, and I promise that our last two projects will be more pleasure than pain. Hang in there Seniors '06!!

As soon as we get done with research papers and Shakespeare plays, we should be in cruise control the rest of the way. I'm really not even worried about those things. May 23 will be here before we know it, so I'm trying to enjoy these last few weeks.

Honestly in all of my classes I have felt like I have had more work 2nd semester than I did first which wasn’t what I was hoping. Hopefully I will figure out how to balance everything and be able to keep up my grades and have a fun end of my senior year. I guess my biggest challenge with be procrastinating, so I should probably try to work on that.

Mrs. Caldwell, I don't like hills and due dates. I guess I would rather just get all this stuff over with now and then coast to graduation. I will try to hang in there.

I am tired of work, it is time for it to end. It needs to end, students have never been required as much as you Mrs. Caldwell requires.

Mrs. Caldwell, this next hill is more like Mount Everest. We have Shakespeare Scenes and Research papers. This is just silly to ask a senior to do stuff like this. Hopefully i'll get through this without having to take your exam

Those calendars are really helpful because i can see up coming homework and plan it around my other classes.

good, no offense caldwell, but school is no fun, it never was, and now it is worse than ever. those last two projects better be fun

You are correct, we do seem to have a lot of hills and valleys. This calender is a little overwhelming, but I am glad that we have and idea as to what we are going to be doing for the next few months.

You call this a valley, we are second semester seniors, and we are doing 3 times the work that we did first semester. I am sick of doing all the work we have been doing. What we are doing right now is not a valley, its not even a hill, its a mountain of work.

If the two projects are not as hard as the research paper, then I don't care.

Boo that calander. Mrs. Caldwell I thought we were done with englisg the research paper. I really don't want to work so if you could let me know what work I actually have to do in order to not have to take the exam.

I'm so glad that the rough drafts aren't due until midnight tomorrow night. I really appreciate the extra class time today and tomorrow! I agree that the calendar was alittle overwhelming, but mostly because we only have like 10 weeks until graduation. I'm in shock.

Thanks for the calendar Mrs. Caldwell! It really helps to see what we have going on until the end of the year. Thanks also for letting us work on the rough drafts in class today and tomorrow...that is a huge help!

I won't lie...the calendar was scary. It's alright though, most of my other classes are beginning to get hectic as well. I will admit I do enjoy having a plan though...It does help me out alot. Everything has been a bit crazy lately...hope I can get all my ducks in a row and be able to relax over spring break. Thank you for the calendar.

Mrs. Caldwell, dont listen to Mitchell. He is the laziest guy I have seen this final semester. I wish that you hadnt given out the calendar because now he can actually see what is due two classes before 6th when he actually does it!!!! Without the calendar he would be seriously screwed!!!!

I agree with AustinM1 when he says that May 23 will be here before we know it. As soon as the research paper is completed, the scenes are finished, and Frankenstein is out of the way, nothing will be left except to walk across the stage at graduation. I can only hope that the last project will be as much fun as this entire year has been for me. Senior year is something truly special and with only three months until graduation I can hardly wait.

Thanks for the calendar mrs caldwell, I also think that really helped me get organized today. I just think that the toughest thing we have really is getting all of this done, it isn't that we are having too much-- but no one wants to do anything, or at least I don't! I also want to thank you for the little extention you gave us today on our rough draft! that helped A TON! you have no idea I don't think I would have been able to get it all done tonight! well see you tomorrow, and thanks for everything!

I agree with you in saying that we have many hills and valleys in your class. At first I didn't like this, but when you give us a calander that lets us see the big picture, it gives me a chance to work ahead during the valleys so that my hills don't have to be too large. I just can't wait until we start that senior project at the end of the year. I'm not very creative but I think they will be cute in the end!

The calendar really helps! This last hill is kind of worrying me. Please do take into account that we are seniors! I can't wait till the research paper is over!

Mrs. Caldwell thankyou for giving us a calender so we know what is coming up the next few weeks, and so we know what to turn in on which days. On the other hand I hope the fourth nine weeks is not near as hard as the third and that we just enjoy our last nine weeks in high school.

Wow, I need to work on my writing and spelling skills.

Hills? and Valleys? there haven't been any hills in here yet and the class is too much fun to be a valley.

When we get these two projects out of the way it is going to get alot better. I agree with ever other person on here saying that I feel like I have had more homework this semester than last, but the end of these projects is going to bring much more free time to relax.

I am not really sure if my group can pull off the Shakespeare play. We defitintly need more time and help getting it ready. I hope that when next Wednesday comes that my group can get it done.
