Smart bloggers want to know...

Post your ideas here:

Give me a movie quote that best relates to a character in a Shakespeare play.

Example: A typical conversation for Macbeth and Lady Macbeth-

Veronica Corningstone: This is pathetic.
Ron Burgundy: You're pathetic.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

Well, I have a good one from anchorman.
Ron:I'm trapped in a glass box of emotion. aarrrrgggghhhh.

Macbeth is trapped in a "glass-box" of emotion all throughout the play.

I don't really have a quote but probably just about anything said in Tristan and Isolde would relate to Romeo and Juliet. The slogan of the movie (i guess that's what you would call it) even says, "Before Romeo and Juliet...there was Tristan and Isolde." To all you people that haven't seen this movie... GO SEE IT! It's amazing!!!

Run Roni Run

I have a new policy...
It's called zero strikes and your out.

It relates to Mrs. Caldwell telling us the due dates for Shakespeare stuff.

Actually this quote has nothing to do with Macbeth, but it seems like it would be something you would say to me if i tried to answer a question in your class.
(this is from Billy Madison...the scene where the Principal makes some comments about Billy's answer to a question he gives)

Principal: Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
